Spring at Mountain Vista

We’re booked this week for spring break but several dates remain open over the next few months. In a few weeks, the lush forest around the cabin will be gorgeous! We have acres of seclusion and we’re high atop a hill which provides our stunning view.

Dog Days of Summer…

We just hosted guests who traveled 8,000 miles from Dubai and experienced “Mountain Vista”. That’s a record and will probably stand forever!

Scores of visitors from Dallas, Oklahoma City and the Shreveport/Texarkana area have enjoyed all that our area has to offer. Many have reported great luck trout fishing on Mountain Fork River and of course, everyone loves Broken Bow Lake.

It’s been another wonderful summer at Mountain Vista Cabin in Beavers Bend/Broken Bow. Remember to do your homework when choosing a luxury cabin. We have acres of seclusion. You bring no pets and no smoking…We provide “The View”!

Money For Nothin’…

You don’t call a plumber if the car is broken… That’s insane. So is the issue facing cabin owners and property managment companies in Southeastern Oklahoma.

Oklahoma House Bill 2305 cleared committee yesterday by a vote of 14-0 at the State Capitol, now the fight against the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission continues. The OREC wants a “cut” from the luxury cabin rental business…wants to “regulate” us. (https://www.beaversbendvacations.com/) They want our money…

Cabin owners and property management companies don’t “sell” cabins…We rent them, just as one rents a hotel room, bed and breakfast etc. That’s how we’re regulated. It’s worked great for decades.

Yesterday was great news for Oklahoma tourism. The private cabin industry brings in millions of dollars per year to Oklahoma. The industry has become enormously successful without intervention from money hungry bureaucracies…Perhaps that’s why we’re so successful!
