Beavers Bend Mountain Vista…It’s All About The View!

Private decks with shade are a must in July! Mountain Vista has them! It’s great to read from here early in the morning. The forest view from our hot tub is spectacular. Even with 100 degree temps, the hot tub is a big hit with our guests!

We have no other cabins visible from our property and offer acres of seclusion.  A critical factor to consider when doing your comparison shopping online!

We just announced a rare summer opening…July 18-24. Stay six or seven nights and receive a $30/night weekday discount.

Don’t forget to ask a few questions like “Hey, show me your view?”  “How close are you to other cabins?” These questions will keep you from being surprised upon arrival in Beavers Bend!

Beavers Bend Mountain Vista Special Visitor!

Susan Havens, the star of our Mountain Vista video recently enjoyed a few days at the cabin with family. Susan not only hosts our video, she also enjoys visiting the cabin and vacationing in Beavers Bend a few days each year!

Susan said, “I love going to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, though I have to admit, I’ve had to stay connected to the Internet much of the time due to client demand. That’s a pretty nice office if you ask me!”

Susan, along with our friend and producer Kurt Boxdorfer http://www.legendmediapros.com , helped paint the picture of what it’s truly like to experience Mountain Vista. 


Our cabin video has been a huge success and is the only professionally produced luxury cabin video in Oklahoma. It now has over 9,000 hits on You Tube!

The Scoop on Renting In Beavers Bend

We’ve discussed this issue here before (http://beaversbendvacations.blogspot.com/2009/02/you-ask-mountain-vista-tells.html) but with the busy season approaching near Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake, a reminder that you need to do homework and ask questions before renting a luxury cabin.

Remember to ask “How close are other cabins, I can’t really tell from your web site?” … “Will we see other cabins from our deck?” … “How close are we to the road?”… “Will our front door be only a few steps from the road?”…  “Why don’t you show the view on your web site?”… “Do you provide high-end towels, linens, bedspreads and hand soap or are these items discount duds?”  “Does the area around the cabin look like Sanford & Son’s Salvage yard or is it an elite, upscale addition?”

We receive frequent calls from people renting in Beavers Bend who are disappointed and wish they’d done a better job of fact finding.

New Voice of Sooners Fan of Beavers Bend & Mountain Vista Cabin

As graduates of the University of Oklahoma, we’re thrilled with the new radio voice of the Sooners, our friend, Toby Rowland. He’s also a fan of Mountain Vista Cabin, Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park!Toby says “I feel like I’ve won the lottery. Since I’ve been old enough to tune in a radio I’ve thought being the play-by-play voice of the Oklahoma Sooners would be the absolute greatest job a person could have. I look forward to many years of being the eyes and ears for the great fans of the University of Oklahoma. It’s an amazing honor!”Toby has been a dominant force in Oklahoma media for about a decade as a sports anchor for KWTV in Oklahoma City and KREF Radio in Norman. He and family recently visited Beavers Bend, Broken Bow Lake and Mountain Vista Cabin…
