Broken Bow Luxury Cabin Opening

DR4C2244We have an opening this weekend at Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend. Come hang out around the fire pit! Oklahoma tourism continues to boom at Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake!

But things slow down a little during the winter and our guests love the great running, mountain biking and hiking the Kiamichi Mountain area offers.

Christmas Season at Broken Bow Cabins in Beavers Bend

Holiday Greetings to our Broken Bow Lake cabin friends in frigid Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana!  We’ll be Christmas decorating at Mountain Vista in Beavers Bend soon…Here’s last years pic!

The Beavers Bend area is fine weather wise…Most of the ice was north of Broken Bow Lake and the luxury cabin areas.

We have an opening at Mountain Vista this weekend (Dec 12-16).

Everyone stay safe and remember to do your homework before choosing a luxury Beavers Bend getaway. Checkout the view, proximity to a noisy road and ask about guest gouging add-on fees such as firewood and insurance. We never charge for these at Mountain Vista.

P.S: Mountain Vista’s Christmas decorations are “On the House” too!

Best Places To Eat Near Broken Bow Lake & Beavers Bend Cabins

We’re frequently asked for Beavers Bend’s best restaurant tips from our visitors at Mountain Vista cabin. We enjoy hanging out on the deck and cooking but here’s a few suggestions on places to eat and grab a cup of coffee when visiting Broken Bow Lake cabins.

We enjoyed a fantastic burger at Shady Oaks a few weeks ago. One of the best ever…They feature top choice beef, friendly service and we’re told their pies are wonderful!

Hocha Mocha Internet Cafe. If you’re looking for a little “Pick Me Up” and need to get your caffeine fix, this is the best place in Beavers Bend to grab a cup of joe.

The Beavers Bend Restaurant is located on Mountain Fork River and offers outside seating. The views outside are stunning. Great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. I haven’t tried dinner here but have heard good reports on their catfish.

Abendigo’s Restaurant near Broken Bow Lake is the premier place for evening meals. My favorite is the Chicken Madeira. Try it!

ATV Riding Near Beavers Bend Cabins

Many of our guests enjoy the ATV trails around cabins in Broken Bow but there’s a few things you need to know before riding in the Kiamichi Mountains.

Review this map before bringing your ATV to Broken Bow Lake cabins. The Beavers Bend area is a popular creative escape for Dallas and Oklahoma tourists but you don’t want to be nailed with a heavy fine for riding in illegal areas.

Most importantly, don’t drink on your ATV in Beavers Bend. We’ve experienced several fatalities in the Broken Bow area this year. Enjoy your Beavers Bend getaway but be careful!
